I went to books a million and got your sacred self.

They had many of his books.

I thought this book was a good one for me to read first.

He sounds interesting im going too look for his books.

I want to find his book the sacred self that’s interesting have you read it?

Yep, read them all, 3-4 times each. I'd read the first 4 books before delving into YSS

I highly recommend reading them in the order they were published.

You picked out the calculus book, don't you think you should start with elementary math first? The definitions of his lingo is in his earlier books.

YEZ PYOS TSTL YWIWYBI RM YSS is the order up through YSS.

IT's a start though.. I Hope you'll post some about it as you go

Why

should I fear death? If I am, death is not. If death is, I am not.

Why should I fear that which cannot exist when I do?" Epicurus:

I would not fear death if I knew id be alive after it.

Being newly deconverted, I think about this stuff sometimes too. When you spent your whole life thinking there was going to be a Heaven and a god and all your dearly-departed family & friends, it's hard to think that now there is no existence. And even though it won't bother me after I'm dead since it didn't bother me before I was born, that doesn't make it seem any better. In my last 6 months of being a Christian, I believed in Universalism (see http://www.tentmaker.org) No eternal hell. No annihalation. Everyone gets to God eventually in the afterlife. So, with that nice prospect of eternal life, it is hard now to go to the BIG VOID, Nothing.

Part of me believes that this ISN'T the end of existence, just that there is no certainty what form afterlife takes. The thought of reincarnation isn't that appealing since we basically don't remember our past lives and have to go through life again and again like a rat on an exercise wheel. And it seems as though you aren't really YOU in these next lives. And you certainly don't remember your family & friends you have now (unless you go under past-life regression, but doesn't it seem like everyone is someone famous - how many Joan of Arcs can there be??).

I can see why religion can be a comfort to people in facing death (Unless you are in a religion that says your particular gender or race is gonna get the shaft of the after-life experience, like some do) It would be a harmless fantasy if only it didn't cause wars, killing, abuse, control, discrimination, etc.

I have trouble believing that death is the end of life too.

I hope it is not the end of life to bad theirs no way to find out what happens.

Shure theirs ghost stories, near death experiences and astral travel.

But it cant be proven as fact

I don't know, I find the injustice of our finite existince fascinating. What kind of people would we be if we didn't have death to worry about? For one thing, there would be no need for science. Who cares how things work if we don't need them to survive? Personally, I would probably spend days on end scratching my ass and eating cheetos. And if we didn't die, there would be no biological need for birth, so we would not need any of our fun parts.

Let me see, boring infinity that takes away our will to make the best of our lives AND no sex???

Death is a better deal.

*oops, I suppose I have become somewhat of a hardcore Atheist. I forget sometimes that people equate death with the beginning of the infinite life of the soul without the body.

I guess then, that my last post is somewhat irrelevent, but hey, you are still welcome to take whatever you want from it.

:dumbo:

Ok, wait. What just happened to my post before my last one???

The supernatural forces are censoring me.

Damn supernatural forces......

Oh, hahahaha......I guess all of my posts are all jumbled together.....

rather strange....

The supernatural forces are working to make a fool of me. Apparently they don't realize I do a pretty good job of turning my ass into a hat meself.

Of course death is the end of life...by definition that's what it is.
