DeathWorship
i love anything by immolation.. here are just a few good ones. "I Feel Nothing" Your prayers, I don't feel them in my heart It is not hate That I stare coldly at the son of god I can not force the blood of Christ To flow through me God is love and his love is dead Drown your sorrows in prayer But your prayers will never change the world I separate myself From those who chase the spirit I can't fall to my knees And pretend like all the rest This is a soul that doesn't need saving Their paradise not mine; an illusion I will not believe Divine presence of perfection, turns sour in my gaze Why should I feel compassion for the suffering of your God For all the pain he allows,I give him what he deserves In the name of the Father, In the name of the Son Where is the Holy Spirit, I feel nothing As I stare upon the crucifix, I feel nothing for a God I never knew I refuse to embrace, and live by his word I take not of his body I take not of his blood I don't need salvation Or his forgiveness I don't want his kingdom My kingdom is here "Lost Passion" Lay your hands...Your healing hands Upon my flesh...My sinful flesh And heal this soul...My tormented soul For I am lost within this place The light I've seen for my entire life Won't guide my way...It's failing me You're failing me...And soon I'll see That with your death this passion dies My devotion to you was complete I've carried the weight of your cross The burden of life presses me These nails are in too deep My passion suffocates me Jesus you suffocate me Help me down From my cross I'm dying here My faith it fades I've suffered long My passion Lost in prayer I lost my soul Lost my way I followed you you led me deep Into despair Where there was hope Gloom was waiting My devotion to you was complete I've carried the weight of your cross The burden of life presses me These nails are in too deep My passion suffocates me Jesus you suffocate me "Rival the Eminent" Not all of us choose to believe Some of us choose to live Not all of us follow so blindly And accept all that we hear Maybe you're not so smart To look outside yourself Maybe you've chosen unwisely In the God you've made your own I'll be my own leader I'll be my own saviour I'll be the strength that carries I'll be the light that guides...me I will make you see Your devotion is in vain I'll be the one left standing When all of you are kneeling And smiling, so content I'll wipe the smiles off your faces Don't you dare pity me I've made my choice and I'll prove you wrong My voice will thunder through the heavens And my flames of hatred burn I believe in me and only me And I bow to no sovereign

Mr. Neil
Joan Osbourne. If God Was One of Us You should listen to this. You might need a high-speed connection, but it seems to download fairly quickly anyway. One of the funnier Bob Rivers parodies. lemmy = godI forgot about that! One of the great quotes from the not-so-great movie Airheads. "Who would win in a fight between Lemmy and God? Trick question! Lemmy IS God!" fallenleaf
Dear God... by XTC. Dear god,Hope you got the letter, And I pray you can make it better down here. I don’t mean a big reduction in the price of beer, But all the people that you made in your image, See them starving on their feet, ’cause they don’t get enough to eat From god, I can’t believe in you. Dear god, Sorry to disturb you, But I feel that I should be loud and clear. We all need a big reduction in amount of tears, And all the people that you made in your image, See them fighting in the street, ’cause they can’t make opinions meet, About god, I can’t believe in you. Did you make disease, and the diamond blue? Did you make mankind after we made you? And the devil too! Dear god, Don’t know if you noticed, But your name is on a lot of quotes in this book. Us crazy humans wrote it, you should take a look, And all the people that you made in your image, Still believing that junk is true. Well I know it ain’t and so do you, Dear god, I can’t believe in, I don’t believe in, I won’t believe in heaven and hell. No saints, no sins, No devil as well. No pearly gates, no thorny crown. You’re always letting us humans down. The wars you bring, the babes you drown. Those lost at sea and never found, And it’s the same the whole world ’round. The hurt I see helps to compound, That the father, son and holy ghost, Is just somebody’s unholy hoax, And if you’re up there you’ll perceive, That my heart’s here upon my sleeve. If there’s one thing I don’t believe in... It’s you, Dear god. If that doesn't sum it up... I don't know what does.

Kuroikaze
Bright Eyes has a ton of great anti christian songs, if you don't know who they are you should check them out. Here is one of my favorite songs by them "When The President Talks To God" When the president talks to God Are the conversations brief or long? Does he ask to rape our women’s' rights And send poor farm kids off to die? Does God suggest an oil hike When the president talks to God? When the president talks to God Are the consonants all hard or soft? Is he resolute all down the line? Is every issue black or white? Does what God say ever change his mind When the president talks to God? When the president talks to God Does he fake that drawl or merely nod? Agree which convicts should be killed? Where prisons should be built and filled? Which voter fraud must be concealed When the president talks to God? When the president talks to God I wonder which one plays the better cop We should find some jobs. the ghetto's broke No, they're lazy, George, I say we don't Just give 'em more liquor stores and dirty coke That's what God recommends When the president talks to God Do they drink near beer and go play golf While they pick which countries to invade Which Muslim souls still can be saved? I guess god just calls a spade a spade When the president talks to God When the president talks to God Does he ever think that maybe he's not? That that voice is just inside his head When he kneels next to the presidential bed Does he ever smell his own bullshit When the president talks to God? I doubt it I doubt it Great song. Even better, Bright Eyes played it live on Jay Leno a few weeks ago, I heard it pissed alot of people off ^^

pandora
Live Pain Lies on the Riverside I have never taken life Yet I have often paid the price And you, you are a victim of this age And the guilt that hangs around your neck Has got me locked up in a cage You've got to learn to live until no end But first you must learn to swim All over again Because... CHORUS Pain lies on the riverside And pain will never say goodbye Pain lies on the riverside So put your feet in the water Put your head in the water Put your soul in the water And join me for a swim tonight I have forever, always tried To stay clean and constantly baptized I am aware that the river's banks are dry And to wait for a flood Is to wait for life I've got to learn to live until no end But first I must learn to swim all Over again Because... pandora
Live Operation Spirit (The Tyranny of Tradition) Heard a lot of talk about the ocean Heard a lot of talk about the sea Heard a lot of talk about a lot of things Never meant that much to me Heard a lot of talk about my spirit Heard a lot of talk about my soul But I decided that anxiety and pain Were better friends So I let it go Did you let it go? Let's get it back Let's get it back together Heard a lot of talk about this Jesus A man of love, and a man of strength But what a man was two thousand years ago means nothing at all to me today He could have been telling me about my higher self But he only lives inside my prayer So what he was may have been beautiful But the pain is right now And right here Let it go! Let it go! Let it go, my friend And let's get it back Let's get it back together
Vigile
Dear God... by XTC.If that doesn't sum it up... I don't know what does. I first heard that song on a christian VHS series regarding the satanic nature of rock music. Sokudo Ningyou
Insane Clown Posse, "Hellalujah." I honestly dislike their kind of music, but this song always makes me laugh, because the actual song is interrupted by a televangelist trying to connive his watchers out of money because he needs it to heal a little boy who's just completely fucked up. The 'vangelist is in quotes. The rest of it is mediocre. "Give God the first portion of your income, say that with me, Give God the first portion of your income. Give it first! Not after deducts, not after the social security, and the hospitilization, and the malnutrition. Not after all these things on your check you say, I'm gonna give God a little what's left. You do, and that's what you gonna get from God." [Violent J] Who am I? I'm not the Devil I can take you to my level Above the rocks, above the earth Tell me what your soul is worth How much money do you make? How much will you let me take? I will give you tranquilty Just send your wealth and checks to me Life is going to expire And your soul will burn in fire You will perish in the thunder Unless you call my hotline number God has asked you to make me rich Me and my fat-whack gaudy bitch On your T.V.'s late at night Send those checks and I'll guide you to the light "Don't put away your wallets just yet, brothers and sisters. There's somebody here I'd like all of you to meet. This is little Jonathan. Jonathan, say hello to the lovely people. Jonathan has problems. Twisted neck, tangled legs, crooked spine, but we can heal this boy. For just, uh, six thousand dollars, we can heal this boy!" [Violent J] God had called me and then stopped by And he told me you're gonna die Unless you buy my holy water Check, cash, or a money order This is true, don't question me I'll even send you shit for free It's only ten bucks for the call And I'll send a prayer, no charge at all Put your lips up to the screen Close your eyelids and intervene Your lips to mine, now send the cash And while you're there, you can kiss my ass Take your paycheck and send me half And I'll send you God's autograph I'll get Allah's and Buddha's too Even Zeus, I don't give a fuck who Just send me that money "Would you like to healed, little Jonathan? (yes, reverand). You see brothers and sisters, this...(beep-beep beep-beep) Excuse me. I told you never to page me on a sermon day. Yes? Uh-huh. Hallalujah. Outty. People, that was the lord, today only, he will heal this boy, for just five thousand dollars!" Pass the collection plate (show-show me how you give) Pass the collection plate (g-give-give, how to live) Pass the collection plate (show-show-show me how you give) Pass the collection plate (show me how you give, I'll tell you how to live) [Violent J] Your total's twenty-two eleven For your set of keys to heaven Make the checks out in my name Me or God, it's all the same Bring your crippled ass to me Pay my usher the holy fee I'll bless your legs and bless your chair Then wheel your bitch-ass outta here Now a special ceremony This part don't cost any money Drip a drop of blessed water Now I fertalize your daughter Even though I fucked a hooker Took your baby girl and shook her You still buy everything I sell And I'm living well See you in Hell! "Four-thousand, eight-hundred, nine-hundred, five thousand Hallalujah, you did it brothers and sisters. Are you ready, Jonathan? (yes, reverand) Lord Almighty, we've met your price, give me the healing power, I can feel it, Lord! Roomy loomy lama noma noomy! This boy is healed. (the audience and the boy express disbelief) "Now to the naked eye, it would appear that this boy has not been healed, but I can assure you, this boy's spirit has been healed. Inside this tangled, mangled frame is a healed little boy. His spirit is healed, Hallalujah!"
Guest Gypsy
am loving all these lyrics. i guess i am too old tho, never heard of half these groups. before this thread the only non-christain song i could think of was marilyn manson's 'personal jesus'. it's part of my treadmill mix cd. (....was thinking maybe i misunderstood the lyrics from personal jesus and they were actually meant to be serious...so i just checked on my other computer the manson site to confirm...can't find 'p.jesus' but judging from the other stuff there i'm probly correct thinking the song is meant as anti-xtian.)
