Open_Minded
Is my being pleased to see a Christian on here a sign of the End of Days? Thanks Grandpa Harley --- but --- no the sign of the end days you need to watch for is an over abundance of fundies.... see the following thread. This post is just the beginning - read through the next 2-3 pages of the thread - you'll see what I mean. (I do believe this thread was before your time). http://www.ex-christian.net/index.php?s=&a...st&p=135220
R. S. Martin
This thread was originally posted in the Testimonies of Former Christians forums so when I saw the title "Recovering Atheist" I figured an atheist was recovering from religious abuse. Having suffered the same, I decided to take a look. Every story is different. Wow! was I in for a surprise. The most pious Jews of Jesus' day could not have been more shocked and outraged had the gentiles set up a swine market in their Holy of Holies in the Temple at Jerusalem on their Passover. Just had to have my little vent here. I went straight to the forum police and things began to happen. Thank you, Hans!
quicksand
I myself was once tempted to completely follow Atheism, but then I did a lot of research and realized it is a crap belief. You cannot use poor church leadership or people like Pat Robertson to say Christianity is bad. The Golden Rule of the Bible is in fact "Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you" and you need to look at the fact that it is only the process of Homosexuality is what the Bible has beef against, because mathmatically, it would reduce population greatly if it spread severly. You cannot also take advantage of other quotes of the Bible to say it goes against women, because it does also say to treat women goodly as well. The propoganda of atheism is a poison. Are you serious? Really? Wow...anyway I'll play with you. Since christians assert that atheists make themselves GODS and that a finite crime is an infinite crime against GOD, therefor your above words are an infinite harm against my godhood. That being the case, I'll punish you infinitely according to the "golden-rule." Kiss my ass, asshat.
מה טבו
I found myself just rolling in laughter at the thought of all those Homosexuals (my brother and his partner came to mind) out there recruiting the rest of us and reducing the "population greatly".... I can't believe there really are people who seriously buy into that shit. Heheheh. There are. After I came out, my mother told me I was recruited. When I said no I wasn't, she said yes I was. I asked her who did it (since neither of us knew anybody who was gay), and she couldn't come up with anything, but she remained convinced. That's how people become gay after all - we get recruited. So I said, "What, they sit in a booth next to the Army/Navy guys on career day at high school?"

The army called here the other day trying to recruit my senior-in-highschool daughter. . . Actually we told our son, once, when the army was trying to recruit him to just sign up for an interview and show up in a dress.
white_raven23
You know what, this dickhead wouldn't know the difference between us responding out of loathsome disgust for his abject stupidity, red hot offense for his total lack of respect for differing beliefs, or genuine conviction prompted by his Holy Ghost. This.....this is so beautiful!! I have happy chills!! I want to kiss you!! I'd want to do more if you were a guy....but what the hey? I didn't think I'd ever see it. RubySera has finally had enough and is calling them as they are!

Are you a mathematician? Let's see your research into this, and then explain why the existence of homosexuality in many species of animals never seems to affect their population numbers. You're an idiot.

Ouroboros
You're an idiot. And yet again, we find us having the same opinion! Some people I just can't help but to call "idiots", and it's a word I use maybe once a year, tops. Only one or a handful people deserve the "annual idiots award" from me. And he surely does. BlueGiant
Well, apparently kkj FAILS at research, as his little pissant diatribe has shown. "I looked into being an 3b!l 4th!35t!!!1one1!" For the Loss! I also think I just heard Jesus telling you to GTFO the Internet, you're making him look bad. And apparently your stupidity also blasphemes the holy spook. And on a final note, you smell. Did I leave anything out?

Some people I just can't help but to call "idiots", and it's a word I use maybe once a year, tops. Only one or a handful people deserve the "annual idiots award" from me. And he surely does. Yeah, there are just some times on rare occasion you are left with so little to say that that's the only word that comes to mind. Just "idiot". I can't find any other words. And coming from someone who usually has a lot more words to paint pictures with, that's pretty bad. So I say we have a special pinned "Idiot of the Year Post" I nominate this tird for the 2007 award. Robbobrob
I find it fascinating that even when hiding behind a keyboard, these dummies still get all wigged out and freak. Not like we are going to go to their miserable little hovels and beat the brains back into them. Just wish more of them would have the good sense to calm down and talk to us like we are normal human beings. But then, we'd never get to see Atlerman posting sheep porn...and that alone might be worth the lack of intelligent Christian response.
Amethyst
What's really disturbing is that these so called Christians claim to have morality, ethics and truth, while they post shameless plugs like this pointing to website full of lies and deceit! Do they really think they can convert people to their religion by being lying assholes? Well, it is how they managed to convert over half the planet.
