RipVanWinkle
bornagainatheist: I stand corrected. You are right, the Greeks BC took the first giant steps in scientific theories, I think. When the Bible was written, science, even to the limited extent it had been developed was not widely known and was not at a sufficient level to have suggested that there was no First Cause of the universe or that there were laws of of nature to explain what appeared to be miracles. Magic and miracles were widely accepted. There was no viable alternative to god as the First Cause. But thanks for the correction. bill
midniterider
I stand corrected. There's hope for you yet Badger. I seriously doubt that. I used to visit here some years ago, when I was kind of loosing my faith. Had hard times, you know. But then I started to read epistemology and philosophy of religion... and I found my blind faith again! Then there is no reason to come by here if your faith is strong. All the people here who are undoubtedly deceived by Satan will lure you to the dark side.
