ContraBardus
I knew about it, but the caption wouldn't have been as funny. I've experienced it myself, but not without help from an outside influence. [Me being young and dumb with drugs.]

I've experienced it myself, but not without help from an outside influence. [Me being young and dumb with drugs.] That's interesting. I don't experience anything that would be considered trippy...it's just that letters, words and numbers have color, texture and food associations. And music has a texture and color, but I'm thinking it's not quite the same thing that could be induced by drugs. It's more like this....you associate the color green with the word "grass" or blue with the word "sky," right? At least I assume most people do. For me, "8" is green and "5" is blue, in the same way those words are.

♦ Fuego ♦
That is fascinating. I saw a blurb on TV about a guy that can do really complex math in his head, and he says he sees the numbers as colors blending this way and that. My wife says that she always saw colors when her dad would play piano at night. Makes me think there are lots of ways to view things that are outside of the standard experience of most people.
Discern
Reminds me of every single time a country or terrorist group does something bad, the U.N says "We condemn this action!". Whoop-de-doo. I'm sure they're shaking in their boots after that hardcore threat.

ContraBardus
That's debatable, but I appreciate the sentiment.
