Jincks013 Posted May 11, 2008 Share Posted May 11, 2008 The problem with xtianity, in all its various forms of ritualism, is that they all worship one 'god' and fear another 'god' (whom they term 'devil') no matter what they want to call themselves if those two basics are true they are xtians. Xtianity is the single most annoying and destructive religion out there. I am including islam in this because its roots trace back to the arahamic system. Anyone who has ever taken an history 100 course would know this, it studies the origin of the major relgions and they all have one common ancestor: some yokel run away statue makers kid from Ur.. commonly called Abraham. Both xtianity and islam decended from this individual. Allegedly he united the 13 tribes of isreal, well the rest is history, which is why we don't have any actual artifacts or evidence of this cult before the bronze age. It didn't exist. This was a figment of the imagination of one person. All xtianity is nothing but a cult, which over time absorbed the aspects of other religions; even the abrahamic system was polytheistic at one point; they did not start out monotheistic. And since Scientology already has its vested Alien higher power in Xenu, Mars might not be an escape route after all. Islam is said to be a religion of peace but somehow I think that's a typo, intended to actually read as "pieces". Hence, all the fanatics that turn themselves into bits in the name of faith Allah needs their help to effect his will on earth while sex slaves await them after their dick implodes. Though I've yet to hear what sort of reward await the exploding women believers. Probably huge glue vats so they can help the virgins get laid by the male martyrs. Ya thinks?! Funny I've met John Travolta quite a few times because he always lands at the St Pete/Clearwater airport where our corporate plane is based. I was even told last night, by two friends of ours, the English translation of the Quran is a mistranslation and the Quran, in the original language says women are equal to men and it does not say Jews are pigs, etc etc, and in fact, murder is a sin and Islam is a peaceful religion. Whatever! These two gullible gentlemen have been bamboozled IMO. My older son tried to agree with them due to his time in Sufism (no he never said the words that made him a Muslim or alike). My aunt has been giving these assholes all her money for decades now, and she's always told that she is "almost clear." They just keep stringing her along, sucking away her cash, retirement fund, every penny she makes. She's a speech therapist in the public school system, and since she cannot ever afford to stop working, she's still at it even though she's 70. She'll be working till she dies, all so these bastards can continue to leech off her. They just love gullible people. She has tried to convert me so many times I lost count. It finally stopped when I wrote her a brutal, 3-page typed letter explaining in no uncertain terms that I am convinced she is being lied to, cheated, hoodwinked, and ripped off by the most cynical psuedo-religion since the Papal Schism of 1378. I live near Scientology headquarters (Clearwater) and they have had a booth at a flea market from time to time. Only twice in 20 years have they asked, as I passed by, if I wanted a copy of Dianetics or a free "personality test." Islam, on the other hand, is actively altering or attempting to alter daily life in this, and other, countries. Not only is their violence level high, but they are intolerant, easily offended, and actively seeking to change our laws and legally protect their terrorists. Hands down, Islam is the biggest festering boil on the ass of the world. I voted for Scientology because the doctrines are so obviously screwy, but I now see the error my ways. But it's too late. Judaism, althouh moderated by social developments by now, is cruel anf f*cked up too in its core. Just see the Old Testament. Though at least it's not a proselytizing religion. So in short, I couldn't choose just one. It would be easier to say which one is the less annoying, which would be perhaps Buddhism, though maybe I just say that because I don't know much about it.
