crazy-tiger
Yes... I remember now. They go all over the place without actually going anywhere. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah... that's cos you don't interpret them correctly. Ouroboros
You mean only 9 of 10 (unless they are true sabbath keepers) plus, the other laws are gone but they keep the tithe one. Someone, the tithe is more important than not eating pork. There are 613 laws in the Torah. And isn't the tithe really not a law at all. But is mentioned in one of the prophet books only? Ouroboros
Well... if we are gonna insist on all 613 laws being on granite in the courthouse we are gonna have to have a bigger courthouse. They could build the courthouse with the stones.
Amethyst
They go all over the place without actually going anywhere. *Clears throat* How many roads must a thread walk down before you can call it a thread? Yes and how many seas must a long thread sail before the readers sleep in the sand? Yes and how many times must the thread go off topic before all the posters are banned? Ouroboros
There's such a thing as too many??! Dunno. Maybe. Maybe not. Does "too many" exist? Can it be explained with the ontological argument or do we need another Kalam here? Since "too many" can't be measured and can't be proven, I guess I have to de-convert and become an a-too-many-ist. Amethyst
Praise be Halo 2, and let his SSX lead me to green pastures. Blasphemy! Zork is the granddaddy of computer RPGs. You must bow down and worship Zork, or the Bugblatter Beast of Traal will get you in the darkness when you forget to grab a torch in the house upstairs. Mad_Gerbil
I've had 3 of them running at once... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A game worth trying is thievery... www.thieveryut.com You need an unreal tournament cd (1999) and this is a mod that allows guards to go up against thieves. You can set traps, move items, and trick each other out in a swords/bow setting that is really very hysterical. If anyone here wants to play I'll take the time to show them how on a private server. The game is free and is alot like checkers -- fast to learn, but full of opportunity to use strategy.
Checkmate
Hmmm...If it's not too late to chime in on the original post, I'd like to add an observation. In this "skit", should not ALL the films of her wretched life been blank? Considering that everything we do is considered "sin", then our entire sinful history should be a blank slate. No need for embarrassment at all. Would make more sense to me. (If I were a Christian, that is.)
Cerise
I seem to remember a certain rodent declaring passionately that ne'er again would he darken our door, etc. etc let-me-take-my-ball-and-go-home etc. Maybe I was hallucinating. Gotta stay off that weed.
Ro-bear
After only hearing of the skit I cried -- if I'd have seen it live I'd of been a mess. So did I! Mythra
nice skit, gerbil. But, according to the bible all you have to do is get born to deserve hell. So, the clips should have started with birth. And of course, there is a laundry list of other sins that could have been in the skit, like lying, and cheating on a test, and wishing you had a new mustang convertible. But of course, the skit is much more interesting when it's about sex, since that's the obsession and irrestible temptation of most christians.
