The debate has been going on for ages whether we should put it in the planet class as it probably didn't form round our sun, at least not in its current position. Some said, "sod it its a technicality". Some said it matters because it gives the wrong impresion. We didn't discover something new. We didn't make a mistake about what it was. Dom, like many before him came in spouting the "main" reasons people left xianity. He says he read this site, but if he had, he'd know that although some people may have left for the reasons he stated, it is far from "most". I know, as mnay of you do, that part of this comes from the pulpit, why pastors, xian speakers and priests feel the need to talk about why people do not believe, instead of just teaching about their religion I don't know, and it's not really what I was thinking. What I was thinking was, Dom said he read the site, but only directly spoke of one thread, from the rant section. If you read the rant section, you might get the impression he says he did. It shows a huge inability to understand humans, not just non-christians but humans at all. If something bugs me I might "rant" about it, listening to the rant you may learn things about me, but, in somehthng as big as why we left a religion like xianity a rant is rarely going to tell you the why. I may hate my last pastors guts, I may think he is the most miserible excuse for a human being I have ever met, but, and this is a HUGE but... he is not why I left the religion. There seems to be a misunderstanding between ranting about things that bug you, and the at heart reasons why you leave a religion, group, or relationship. On another note I had to giggle that the one thread he mentioned he read was one that title says had sex with christian women.
