Goodbye Jesus

Hey Christians! I dare you to pray for me.

C'mon now, all of you True Believers out there. Get your youth groups and prayer meetings jazzed with this one. Make me straight. You've got God, and Jesus and the Holy Spirit on your side. Bind Satan, cast out the spirit of whatever it is that causes me to be a queer, and cure me.

I am so tired of all you believers tellin' all the gay younguns that they can "choose to follow Christ" and Jesus will deliver them. They need to see this in action, now. Don't be givin' them false hope.

I'm a pure Kinsey 7 homo. Never "done" a lady, and don't want to. Macho, too. No drag. No "I wanna be a gal" thang going on either. Just like the dudes.

So if the blood of Christ means anything, it can cure me of what your god deems an abomination. I await your reasons why he won't get off his ass and cure me as proof that he can. And at the same time, he can just wave that wand (or whatever he's got up his sleeve) and cure all my gay brothers and lesbo sisters. Why not? If you've got the faith of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Turning me straight is easy compared to that.

Isn't saving one soul worth it? Get a marathon going. Save me from my sodomite ways. I need to be cured according to you.

Am I tempting your god? Damned straight I am. Am I tempting you? We'll see...

And I'd like to add a prayer request, while we're at it.

My son is paraplegic, has only one kidney, most of his large intestines removed, 30% removed from liver, 30% removed from pancreas, spine broken in three separate places, have only 80% dexterity in his right arm, body full of scars.

I want that fixed. Not for me, but for him, my son.

Christians, you dare take up on the challenge?

The obvious answer is, they don't have the faith of a mustard seed.

Very true. But they have doubts the size of a mountain.

Hmmm... you know someone out there in ExC land pointed out that if prayer works to make one un-gay, then likewise prayer should work to make someone gay.

Perhaps, gay and lesbian groups should just pray for the mass convergance of straight gay-hating homophobic christians (which are any of them that think that homosexuality is a sin) and battle it out that way.

Curtdude,

I'm sure that one night with IBF would set you straight. No god involved. :lmao:

After just seeing the nekkidness of our dear queer IBF you'd be muff diving within the hour. But he has a hostage right now and is unavailable. :tsk tsk:

Right on Han...I think the True Believers can PUT A CROW BAR IN THEIR DAMNED HEARTS and add your son to this Prayer Request.

Maybe I should have waited until Wednesday, which is Prayer Meetin' Night anyways.

Ah christian logic......

I can hear them now: "Well, how can you possibly KNOW you're gay if you haven't at least tried being with a woman?"

I call that the "you-just-don't-know-what-you're-missing" argument

BUT

Then there's the logic they use with gay men who HAVE been with women.....: "If you've had sex with a woman than you can't really be gay, you got it up after all. So you're straight already. You're just tempted to be gay. Just resist the temptation. I'd like you to meet my sister......"

I call that the "all-there-is-to-attraction-is-getting-an-erection-and-or-ejaculating-into-a-female" argument.

Oh those christians.....If they were any more naively precious I'd have to put rabid squirrels down their pants. :HaHa:

Yeah, nice isn't it. I think people should reply, 'okay, i'll try sex with a woman, if you'll inject some heroin into your arm...what do you mean you just know. How can you possibly KNOW you're not going to enjoy it if you haven't at least tried it.'

I think you're more likely to have some of the Christian's have a homosexual experience than they are to turn you Curtdude.

Aren’t you just too funny! The truth of the matter is that PR has been begging to get into my pants since the day he saw my photo, but alas, I do have a lower limit to my standards. :thanks:

Oh, no you just didn't! You are so freaking hilarious!!

Please don’t encourage the trolls. PR is winning the on poll on who is funniest poster; it’s obviously going to his head.

Good idea, Han ol'buddy! :woohoo:

They can also add my wife and my dad to the list. My wife has Crohn's Disease, and my dad's legs and hips are getting more fucked-up by the day. Aside from the fact that he hasn't recieved his "healing" since he started attending a church where they do those sorts of things. But then again, even though they are aware of his condition, they still allow him to catch the assholes who fall backwards when they are slain in the spirit. Yeah! That does wonders for his legs and hips.

So, go ahead True Believers™! Pray away!

Han and I will let you know when the positive results are in.

Yup. I will all let you know when the miracle happens. Actually you probably would get a bible bashing fundie extremist christian on your hands if that would happen!

Please oh mighty Pink Unicorn, if there is or ever will be such a thing as "curing" homosexuality, please keep it away from the lesbians. My world would be much darker without them in it. Amen and whinny.

Hans,

Who fits the description of a follower of Christ that can heal your loved one?

Jesus's defining of a follower of Him or disciple

Luke 9:1-3

1 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

2 He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

3 And He said to them, "Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.(NKJ)

Plan of action from Jesus

Matt 28:19-20

19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.(NKJ)

Biblical example of how the plan of action and definition combined has healed a man.

Acts 3:6-8

6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."

7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them-- walking, leaping, and praising God.

(NKJ)

Curtdude,

What does a Christian heterosexual man do when he is consumed with pornography and intense sexual fantasies? Or How does this same man handle a continuing thought process of someone other than his wife?

Even further, What does this same man do if he has numerous oppurtunities to have relations with other women outside of his marriage, and it is overwhelming him?

I really believe that if we could answer these questions in regard to the Christian heterosexual man, then we could address the homosexual side of sexual immorality.

YoYo,

This thread is not about yapping about what the Bible says (although it does say that if you believe in Christ, the believer will heal the sick, move mountains, raise the dead) but about Christians actually doing it. (Of course, all this was asserted to compete with legendary pagan philosophers who were reknowned for for healing the sick as well. Oh what's that? Smells like paganism to me.)

Proof. A perfect way for you to prove the veracity of your religion.

Simply, this is a way to put up or shut up my friend.

OK YoYo lets see if you can show proof of a healing that wasn't written in a story book?

I saw David Copperfield make the Statue of Liberty disappear. Was that a miracle or just a talented bit of trickery?

What does the christian man do in these instances? Hides it from my experience, and judging from all of the accounts of christian perverts in the news the past decade some don't hide it very well.

I'm not surprised you didn't even offer a prayer for Curt though. From the majority of your posts you seem to be less than capable of anything other than frustrating ignorance. You abandon every thread you start when there are just no answers that stick from your magic book.

Is your last name Kerry? You seem to flip flop quite a bit. :lmao:

I don't see homosexuality as sexually immoral.

Heres the thing. This whole topic in general is based around the Christians response or veiw about this lifestyle.

As a Christian, the Bible is supposed to be the lifeguide for us. It is supposed to be the guide that God has handed down, Good and Bad situations, that we live and learn by.

In that, the Word speaks about these things in similarity. They are a abomination to the Lord.

Heres the catch though.

There are many other abominations of the Lord. One that stands out that any person could partake in is the Using of trhe Lords name in vain.

Most people when you say that this is about vulgar language toward the Lord or saying the Lords name in vain.

Matt 15:8-9

8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

(KJV)

When people praise God and talk about God, but really dont even put their thoughts toward God, they worship Him in vain.

So you're saying there are no True Christians™ in this world?

And the ones that prayed for my son before, none of them fit the description?
