Fweethawt
I doubt it We can agree god exists But we can’t agree on what god that is How can you agree that god exists?
Fweethawt
Im not talking about the Christian one. That does not prove god don’t exist It proves the Christian one doesn't. 106574 106581 I doubt it We can agree god exists But we can’t agree on what god that is How can you agree that god exists? 106583 Never mind. willybilly30
I thought Asimov was talking about god in general. I don’t believe in the Christian god Damn I just remembered something. Daniel was talking about the Christian god existing I feel like a dumbass Yea argumentation back and forthDoes that ever solve anything? Watch this thread its just going to be fighting back and forth And nothing will ever be proven That's because nothing of the Christian God has ever been proven. They shove it in people's faces as if their theology is some sort of truth, and they're not happy unless everyone becomes a mindless drone once their fucked-up theology scrambles everybody's brains. It's what the theology is for. It doesn't save shit. It creates drones. 106580

Mythra
It can't be proven either way. All that can take place is a thorough examination of the facts, and, using the brain that you were born with, come up with the most logical conclusion. If you see proven pieces of the puzzle that don't fit your personal ideas, then you need to change your ideas. Not reject or ignore the pieces of the puzzle, and try to fortify the walls of your ideology. All that does is create internal, unresolvable conflict. Asimov
That does not prove god don’t exist Oh really, so you're just going to change your definition of God because I've shown your original one was false? Another logical fallacy, shifting the goal posts. I show that your concept is meaningless and so you change it so something else. Our dialogue went something like this, I will change the subject to bananas: willy states "plaid coloured bananas exist" Asimov shows that it is logically impossible for plaid coloured bananas to exist. willy states "well that doesn't prove bananas don't exist. Don't make the mistake of being intellectually dishonest. Yea argumentation back and forthDoes that ever solve anything? Watch this thread its just going to be fighting back and forth And nothing will ever be proven Of course it solves things, sometimes. Except when my opponent is, like you, too muleheaded to accept when they've been defeated and own up to being wrong.

willybilly30
Have you explored the whole universe and seen whether god exist or not. It can't be proven either way. Guest Guest
At least you aren't so arrogant, and ignorant to make the firm and blind claim of saying their is no God.106552 Is this like the arrogant blind claim that talking snakes can "tempt" humans into eating forbidden fruits? What about the ignorant claim of "virgin births" to half man half gods? Or maybe the ultimate of arrogant, ignorant claims, that dead people can be "resurrect" themselves as zombies and then launch themselves like a rocket into outerspace? Stop already, you're killing me!

IV noticed others doing it too. He showed you where a logical conclusion would lead you. He wasn't trying to change your view. He gave as much proof as could be given in order to show that what you were saying was false. That approach is much different than saying, you are wrong and you are going to burn in hell if you don't think the way that I do. Then, that would be trying to change your view. Cerise
You'd have to be able to define God before you could prove its existance or not. If a definition of God is omnipotent, omnibenevolent, omniscient being in the sky somewhere, I think we can safely say god doesn't exist. If you define God as "trees" though, then god does exist. See?

willybilly30
Ok im going to be honest I do not have the answers to your posts about the god being the universe is meaningless post Im sorry but I do not. That, is an enormous step.
