I suffer lonliness, pain just like ya all. There's are times when I don't feel God's presense. I get scared, have doubts, worry about the future. All of those things are a part of life. Don't question it. There are times when you don't feel God's presence, because it's just a figment of your imagination and just when you're about break from its shell, you make yourself believe in that imagination again like a girl pretending to be Peter Pan's Tinkerbell. Why don't you take control of your life and be more responsible instead of relying on some non-existant character to fill up your flaws, laziness, insecurities and responsibilities? The true comfort I have from Jesus is knowing He didn't come for perfect people and He loves me just as I am. Others don't. Others wouldn't even look at me twice let alone once. Others could care less when I'm lonely or in pain. Yup! My pain and hurt drive me to Jesus because He is the only one who accepted me on a deep emotional level and helped me through the worse times in my life. Yeah, that's what a book says. Perfect idea huh? He loves you? No. You only think your idol loves you, because you'd like to believe that. Your imaginary friend doesn't love you just as much as the people you don't think loves you. You only believe that he helped you and that he accepted you. I don't think the Count of Monte Cristo has given me any of his riches. Call it was ever you want, fantasy, a lollipop. delusion but that Man is a plain and real to me as the nose on my face (which no one can miss. ) If there are hard times, I'm with Him for better or worse, richer or poorer, good times and bad. The reward is Jesus in Himself. Heaven won't mean a thing without Him. And even if He never gave me another blessing He already gave me all than I could ever ask for. I can see a nose, but I can't see some divine person that died centuries ago. You're with a dead man during hard times and good times? Do you have a fascination with dead people to the point where you visit their graves and think their names are all Jesus? What reward is Jesus? The only reward is you talking and acting like a crazy person. Heaven won't mean a thing without him and Heaven won't mean a thing period. Again, a comfort zone is a little too much of a comfort zone if you have dug yourself that deep. Stop being lazy. He gave you nothing. There is no connection, only your psychological disorder. A scanned jpeg image is a mechanical image, a computer image. It is neither a painting nor a drawing. A work done by hand by an artist is a drawing. Drawings may take forms other than paintings, e.g. sculptures, etc. This can be taken to far-out ends, including Found Art, Censeptual Art and even Performance Art, but at this point you are pretty far out. Traditionally, a drawing is hand-drawn art. Most artists "bow up" a little (perhaps only inwardly) when their work is referred to as a "picture." Mechanical art, done by an artist, remains mechanical art. Some do call them drawings. These include computer art and photography. Bottom line, a drawing is not a picture, and no artist of my acquaintance or that I have studied ever referred to his drawings as pictures. No artist refers to drawings as pictures. Now may I bring you full circle back Amy Marie, to the very beginning of our conversations where I pointed out to you that it is a fallacy to put an idea like God into a box? Aren't you making him in your image; an image that other's don't relate to just as people like OM, Amanda, NotBlinded, and others do in challenging traditional views of Christians? Isn't this the same in your own rite as those here who worship the idea of God through the face of say... Odin? Whose image of God is the right image for all people to worship? But that's not why she was banned-- I believe it was her insistence upon not giving actual answers to questions and flitting from thread to thread whilst so doing, and her basic incoherence that caused her to be banned. Amy Marie? I was probably one of the few that had patience with her, and even then she ended up frustrating even me. I guess I had a certain understanding of her through her artist side, yet she went beyond into some pretty esoteric ways that very few humans, if any could go - like Jesus on a motorcycle making love to her. It was Bruce who sent her on her way because she wouldn't engage in dialog with anyone and just kept restating her fantasies about her Holy Lover.
