I don't care what it does as long you understand Jesus is our only way out of this.

A figment of your own active imagination ISN'T, nor can be, the way out of anything objectively speaking.

This is all 100% make believe. The entire apologetic's exist within your mind, not anyone else's. It's subjective to you and not universal to everyone.

And this subjective belief problem of yours is preventing you from seeing anything objectively. You're blind to objectivity right now. Some of us used to be blind as well. But we see it now. We've broken out of similar mental states that you are currently experiencing.

Meaning that we have the personal experience of being both in similar shoes to yourself (presupposition and subjective belief) and breaking out of it and opening out our worldviews and perspectives.

You don't know or understand us, but we know and understand you all too well.

I'm sure you've heard of something called projection?  but the vigilance must be towards ourselves to see it in ourselves .

we know not what another knows (necessarily/depending/are we all-knowing?) if we don't 'know'.  and we don't know their mind (necessarily/depending/do we understand what they understand? or only think/believe we do?).

I'm no longer bothering with Joe.

But when I see Ex-Christians and sceptics asking Christians to prove their beliefs with science it's time for me to remind them that the only branch of science that uses proofs is mathematics.

In case any Ex-Christians or sceptics didn't hear me the first, second, third or however many times I've said it in this forum, I'll shout it out loud.

THERE  ARE  NO  PROOFS  IN  EXPERIMENTAL  OR  OBSERVATIONAL  SCIENCE!

So, please stop asking Christians to prove their beliefs with science.

Thank you.

Walter.

Aw Walter... Joe's no bother.

I am beginning to suspect that he is a RCC priest though.

It is you that claims I have to prove God exists first. I'm saying you use science to arrive at a God.

The end goal is the same.

And here we have a misunderstanding of the burden of proof. Shock horror.

Most people are using the colloquial version of "proof" in the context of 'proving God'. While I agree with the technicality of your post Walter, getting upset about it in this thread is a waste of time IMO. Our current Christian is not of high enough quality to make the distinction worth fighting over. Most people, when they say proof, they mean perponderance evidence supporting the conclusion.

You can't have direct evidence ..that ruins the test.

The bottom line is that the christians are dealing with something that remains un-provable, as the existence of god isn't something that they can prove with science or math. So the big takeaway here is that it's nonsensical to argue with people about the existence of god when it's beyond anything that you CAN prove.

So christians ought to learn to keep their subjective beliefs to themselves, and don't bother trying to argue, arguments, which are beyond successfully arguing...

You can't have indirect evidence either.

In fact, there is and can be no evidence of your claims here at all.

And that provides you with pseudo-intellectual cover beneath which you're safe to begin spinning your next fairy-tale-backed-by-the-supposition-of-science.

Do tell.

What precisely is a "soul"?

A soul doesnt mean Jesus is/was real.

The brain is using the same thing we see in interference patterns. The physical brain is translating what we are thinking from it. Alzheimer's disease shows a signal that gets messed up from a physical brain that is mushy. All quantum effects can be attributed to interference. All quantum effects have to be unobserved and coherent.

A soul connects to the Vector Field of Waves.

Brain activity before you react to an event that didn't happen yet:

The physical brain is a playback device.
