Makes sense. However "dust" is clearly one more example of the abstractions and the allegory that makes up most of the bible. I believe that you believe that you have seen a deep spiritual truth. Probably everyone here can remember what it was like to compose a truth we believed brought us into alignment with God, a 'higher power', using all that biblical allegory as the framework for our supposed "spiritual enlightenment". I know I do. Over the years as I sought my closer relationship with God through more study and greater devotion, people would share with me their understanding and Christian belief in regard to specific aspects or what they had gleaned in understanding from one verse or the other. Usually some spiritual/biblical detail that had interested them particularly and therefore, to which they had devoted some attention. When these were people I respected and those I believed perhaps had been more devoted to study and knowledge of God, I listened and often then folded their bit of biblical insight into my own concept of earth, mankind, temporal reality, and God.
